Fred Spiegelberg Media (FSM) is named after the late Fred Spiegelberg, head coach of the Medford High School Black Tornado (1952-1982). While Fred oversaw 253 wins and four state titles during his coaching tenure, it wasn’t the wins that mattered most, but the lives that were touched and the positive impact he had on the culture of the Medford community. “He touched a lot of lives,” says Fred’s son, Scott Spiegelberg. “He is one of those Coaches that instilled a lot of discipline and confidence. He cared deeply.
